Booking & Cancellation Policies
- Payment Modes: Bank Transfer (NEFT / RTGS / IMPS), UPI, Online Payment Gateway (where available), or Cash as per
- company policy and applicable legal requirements.
- 30% ADVANCE AT BOOKING: 30% advance payment of the total package cost is mandatory at the time of booking to
- confirm the package. The booking will be treated as confirmed only after receipt of the 30% advance payment and written
- confirmation from Umbrella Trip.
- 70% BALANCE PAYMENT: The remaining 70% balance payment must be cleared before commencement of the tour,
- preferably 7–10 days before the travel date.
- LAST-MINUTE BOOKINGS: For bookings made within 7 days of travel, 100% advance payment may be required to confirm
- the booking.
- The exact payment schedule mentioned in the final quotation/invoice will be applicable and may vary depending on hotel,
- safari, transport and supplier policies.
- TERMS & CONDITIONS
- All bookings are subject to availability. The booking will be confirmed only after receipt of the required 30% advance
- payment and written confirmation from Umbrella Trip.
- Accommodation will be provided according to the selected package category. If the selected hotel or resort is unavailable, a
- similar-category property may be offered.
- Standard hotel check-in and check-out timings apply. Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may
- involve additional charges.
- Jim Corbett Safari is subject to permit availability, forest department regulations, zone allocation and fixed safari timings.
- Safari cannot be guaranteed if permits are unavailable.
- Tiger and wildlife sightings are based on natural conditions. Umbrella Trip does not guarantee any specific wildlife sighting.
- The itinerary may be changed or rearranged due to weather, traffic, road conditions, local restrictions, safari timings or
- operational requirements.
- Road travel in Uttarakhand may be affected by rainfall, landslides, snowfall, road maintenance, traffic congestion or other
- unforeseen circumstances.
- The vehicle provided will be according to the confirmed package. Vehicle usage is limited to the agreed itinerary and
- sightseeing points.
- Boating, ropeway, adventure activities, horse riding and other optional activities are payable separately unless specifically
- mentioned in package inclusions.
- Cancellation charges will apply according to the cancellation policies of hotels, resorts, transport providers, safari operators
- and other suppliers.
- Any applicable refund will be processed after deduction of cancellation charges and supplier penalties.
- No refund will generally be provided for unused hotel nights, meals, sightseeing, safari, transport or other services voluntarily
- not used after commencement of the tour.
- Umbrella Trip shall not be responsible for delays, cancellations or changes caused by natural disasters, heavy rainfall,
- landslides, road closures, strikes, government restrictions, wildlife department restrictions or other circumstances beyond
- reasonable control.
- If the remaining balance is not paid within the agreed timeline, Umbrella Trip reserves the right to cancel or modify the
- booking subject to applicable cancellation policies.
- Guests are responsible for their personal belongings, valuables, passports, cash and electronic devices.
- The final quotation, invoice and booking confirmation issued by Umbrella Trip will supersede any preliminary itinerary or
- estimated pricing.
