The Uttarakhand Himalayan Adventure (5 Nights / 6 Days) is a high-altitude journey through the magnificent Garhwal Himalayas, taking you from the spiritual riverbanks of Rishikesh to the snow-draped meadows of Auli, one of India's finest ski and trekking destinations.
The journey begins in Rishikesh — the yoga capital of the world — where the Ganga rushes through rocky gorges and the air carries both adventure and spirituality. Local sightseeing on day one sets the tone, with visits to the iconic Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula and the tranquil Ganga Ghat.
Day two takes you deeper into the Garhwal mountains on a scenic drive through Devprayag, where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers merge to form the holy Ganga. The road continues to Srinagar (Uttarakhand) or Rudraprayag — important halts on the famed Char Dham pilgrimage route — where you spend the night surrounded by mountain scenery.
On day three, the drive towards Joshimath reveals increasingly dramatic Himalayan landscapes — deep gorges, cascading rivers, terraced fields and towering peaks come into view as you ascend through the Chamoli district. Joshimath, an ancient hill town at over 6,000 feet, serves as the gateway to Auli.
Day four is the highlight of the tour — Auli, perched above 2,500 metres, offers some of the most spectacular panoramic views in the Indian Himalayas. Nanda Devi (India's second-highest peak), Trishul, Dronagiri and other snow-capped giants stretch across the horizon. The optional Gondola ropeway (subject to operation) adds a thrilling aerial perspective to the journey.
Day five allows more time to explore Auli's open meadows and viewpoints before the return drive towards Rudraprayag or Srinagar for a final overnight halt. The return to Rishikesh on day six completes a circuit through some of Uttarakhand's most awe-inspiring mountain landscapes.
